I remembered an old friend once told me that everything wrong with the body started with a nutritional imbalance. I don't know if "everything" wrong in the human body starts with a nutritional imbalance but I am starting to believe its pretty close. I started studying leaky-gut syndrome and what causes it.  I learned how the leaky-gut is the starting point to almost all autoimmune diseases.  Once the gut is damaged, and depending on how long it stays damaged, you can experience a host of symptoms that can evolve to disease.

There are studies showing that Candida infection might actually be the trigger for Celiac Disease and most food allergies.

So I started to clean up my diet as much as possible.  I avoided sugar, even fruits at first. I avoided wheat, gluten, corn, dairy and meats because I found that these are the common "inflammatory-foods".  As I avoided these foods I gave my intestines the time it needed to heal.  I changed my diet to consume whole foods, mostly vegetables, nuts, seeds, avocados and soups.

 Simultaneously, with a diet change I introduced Energy Healing that was an essential part of the healing process.  I created a way to healing at the cellular level in addition to my studies of releasing emotional energies.  This allowed accelerated healing and quicker results.

Because I started to feel better I quickly found myself justifying to consume the common "inflammatory-foods" again.   The months of study and implementation was reversed in the matter of days.  All symptoms returned and more.  I had to learn a hard lesson that no matter how much energy work is applied, nothing will change the damaging chemical makeup of sugar, pesticides in gluten, corn, dairy and meats.  For my body gluten is an absolute NO! Sugar is essential to stay away from. Corn and Dairy needs to be limited and avoided if possible.  Meats need to be eaten sparingly.

My second time around in healing I followed the first two steps of a Whole Food Diet and Energy Healing.  I then utilize an energy modality such as Applied Kinesiology or Muscle Testing to asset what kinds of foods my body needed. Additionally, muscle testing was a great asset when trying to determine the quality, quantity and duration of supplements.  While applying energy healing during this time, I found a reduced need for supplement quantity and duration, of which, saved on time and expenses of supplements.

Digestion Healing Supplement:

Mastic Gum: One of the best supplements to assist digestive healing is Mastic Gum.  Mastic is a tree that only grows in Greece.  Mastic Gum comes from the sap of the Mastic Trees.  This sap is sun-dried into a gum that has been used in Greek medicine going all the way back to antiquity.  In my studies I found that Mastic Gum is a Prebiotic food, which means it provides an environment for probiotic bacteria to grow and become strong.  I learned of stories of mastic gum healing the digestive system when dealing with food poisoning, the flu and any upset stomach issues. 
Bromelain: Is a digestive enzyme that comes from pineapples. It has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. 
Digestive Enzymes is essential for absorption.  As we age our bodies ability to naturally produce enzymes reduces.  The heavier the food the more you need an enzyme.  If you don't want to take a supplement, remember there are digestive enzyme foods i.e. ginger, cilantro, apple cider vinegar, papaya, pineapple and kefir.

Probiotics are essential in maintaining a healthy gut.  You can naturally find healthy bacteria in fermented foods such as kefir.

L-glutamine is an essential amino-acid that supports tissue repair.  Not only is it great for body builders but does wonder to heal the gut and repair intestinal tissue.

Apple Cider Vinegar restores the pH balance in your body by creating an alkalizing environment and encouraging beneficial bacteria to grow.  It also aids in digestion as a form of digestive enzyme.

Coconut Oil is naturally anti-fungal and kills harmful micro-organisms. Aids in digestion and bowl movements and is wonderful in assisting in weight loss.

Greens are important for so many reasons, but with regards to aid in digestive healing, greens are powerful natural way to detox the body.  When taking a greens complex you will assist the digestive tract to eliminate metabolic waste, toxic metals, and toxins in general. Diatomaceous Earth (Food Grade) Diatomaceous means "full of diatoms" (single-celled honeycomb structured algae organisms encased in silicon exoskeletons).  DE is a gentle abrasive that's also highly absorbent, and it's almost entirely made of silica which is an important component of ligaments, cartilage and musculature. Stevia - is a natural herb that is used as a sugar substitute that comes from the stevia plant that grows in Paraguay and Brazil.  It has a different taste but provides a natural zero calorie benefit.
Beet Sugar - same texture as white sugar and can't taste any difference.  This is my sugar substitute of choice both in taste and consistency.
Coconut Sugar - provides a coconut flavor to cooking.  If you like coconut, try this.
Raw Organic Honey - Local honey is best to assist with promoting fewer seasonal allergies.

Saliva Spit Test - I don't recommend you do the home test by spitting saliva into a glass of water because you can easily get a false positive for various reasons, i.e. recently eating dairy the day before or having allergies can give a false positive.
